Currently, you can safely and securely use your bank account for the payment.
Things to be noted while using your bank account
1. Bank account name and VoPay name should be the same?
We are unable to process any transfer when it is not clear that the money came from the VoPay member themselves; If someone sent the money else, it can be refunded to them. Or that person can create an account with us. We do not hold money we cannot identify and always contact the person behind the transaction.
2. Is it safe to save my bank details in VoPay?
Yes. VoPay does not store any bank data. Instead, all data is permanently converted to a format not readable by humans, using an SHA-1 hashing algorithm. The hashed values are then transmitted to a secured server. This helps ensure that account numbers can never be compromised
3. What if I initiate a transaction on a national holiday
We can process your transaction only after we get the amount from your account which depends on your bank account.
4. Why is Interac not supported?
We are growing day by day and are trying to offer you all convenient and affordable payment options. Unfortunately, it takes quite a bit of work to support Interac payments and provide an excellent customer experience. While we are working to get this in place for future transactions, we currently do not support Interac. Please let us know if Interac is important for you so we can better prioritize this work.
5. Why is credit/debit card not supported
Currently, VoPay has bank to bank transfer only, soon will be adding more features
